What is the Top Concern of Denverites 60+?

The National Council on Aging periodically does telephone surveys of Americans age 60 and older asking about their preferences and concerns for their retirement.

Answer: Maintaining Physical Health

The most recent survey of Denver’s 60+ population found that the biggest concern for these people is maintaining their physical health. 50% of the surveyed adults in Denver chose that as their biggest concern—a number that is 10% higher than the national average. That issue is also the top concern for this population nationwide, although seniors in other areas of the country have more diverse concerns.
