Ahead of his Aug. 15 San Antonio show, Barry Manilow will award a $10,000 grant to one local school and music teacher.
This grant is a parting gift from Manilow’s Last Concerts tour, which is being billed as his "final curtain call" for touring.
Half of the $10,000 grant will be allocated for new instruments, with the remaining funds available for the music teacher to use at their discretion.
Nominations can be submitted on the Manilow Music Project website, where the public can vote to determine the winning school.
Manilow's San Antonio concert will take place at Frost Bank Center, offering fans one last chance to see him live in the city.
Tickets for the show range from $19.50 to $499.50, catering to a wide range of fans.
The tour will also be the final performance for Manilow in four other Texas cities: Austin, Sugar Land, Fort Worth, and Corpus Christi.
