Skin care tips: 8 expert hacks for oily skin care this summer

Protect your skin with SPF

Wearing SPF 30 or higher sunscreen daily is one of the best things we can do for our skin in summer. Apply sunscreen 15–30 minutes before sun exposure.

Hydrate from the inside out

Since the body loses a lot of water by sweating in the sun, always carry a water bottle. Watermelon, cucumber, and strawberries are also hydrating.

Massage enough and keep it lightweight

Before makeup, massage your face upward for 5 minutes to minimize puffiness and drain water retention.

Exfoliate regularly

Exfoliate weekly to avoid this. Choose a gentle exfoliant for your skin type to remove dead skin cells and reveal smooth, radiant skin.

Use a face mist

To keep your skin cool and hydrated, carry a bottle of face mist and spray it on throughout the day.

Soothe sunburns

It will minimize inflammation and acne-causing germs. Sometimes rubbing it all over makes the skin happy.

Get rid of pimples

Use green tea ice cubes to remove zits. Make green tea as usual. Put water in an ice cube tray with essential oil.

Clay mask

For oily skin, a clay mask is essential for summer breakouts. To prevent acne, it absorbs excess sebum and deep cleanses the skin.
